I tell ya.....its been a while ok- its been hard being cooped up here at home for two years..... you should see the size of my suitcase......Jesus i could pack a small country in this thing itself....

Anyways i am not going to spill the beans - but you will soon find out when i come back!:).. IF i come back that is... :) Someone is going to be very lucky to have me as a guest..... he is a pretty special guy too let me tell ya.... :)

Heidi Heidi Heidi HO!!.......
Yep so its been a little while since i have had time to write- I have had alot ON my heart- and alot IN my heart. It was such an AWESOME weekend and yes i took Sunday to recover.. and a few hours on my bike today also.... I am no longer counting tomatoes and peeling shrimp in my sleep!


This weekend I was able to deliver a delightful meal for the 25 duchies, and I just want to say how blessed I am and filled with such a surpassing gratitude in my heart.

Going to share just a few pictures and a simple word.

Trio of gallet free-form ( my free fallin pie eye eyes....:)) Apricot raspberry, peach blueberry, and strawberry rhubarb with a scoop of rich vanilla bean ice cream!


Sometimes i think we all can get overwhelmed, over worked- stressed out- or feeling the need to "dress to impress" all the time..or ALOT of the time. ( Come on now agree with me ladies, we like to "dress to impress"-------- confession is bad for the reputation,.. but good for the soul ) i was feeling this way just a touch when realizing just what kind of a meal i was preparing to cater for the party and also people i think very highly of!

I was reminded and every day i must remind myself : Its NOT about Me.
There is only ONE person you need to impress.
There is only ONE person you need to make smile. There is one person you need to know you are going to get a pat on the back from.
God.
Hes got hold of us - even in situations where i think we feel that FOG, fluster hott hott and cold sweats perhaps - gotta do this- gotta do that- oh what next- EEK what do i do- what am I doing again..... ha i speak of blond moments ok.....?

He never will give us more then he knows we can handle- sometimes we feel that he IS but that is why he gives us a heavy different sort of load sometimes- cause HE WANTS US TO TURN TO him and receive his strength and empowerment to breakthrough and advance in the kingdom of God.. continually!

Before we invest as the "world" does... money. Invest ourselves. Come on wake up. Its an INSIDE job. invest yourself.. INVEST YOUR TIME.... YOU. sweet Jesus baby invest it what you got you know what you got stirred up inside of you- don't HIDE it in the ground ! - surprise yourself- Step out and wing it if ya have to GOD will give you the other WING! ( just dont chicken wing it ok!:)) Whatever it may be- there is a gift inside of everyone. God wont take away a gift or talent he gives to us so graciously- once it is given- it is given for good- and it is going to develop the more we use it! He wants us to EXCERCISE this gift, be good stewards of this gift, not selfish criminals. He only wants to give us more in return right and this rules! God seriously is after OUR best!! and he sometimes turns the heat up real hott so we really can show ourselves the best.. and the best really is IN his impeccable POWER and Wisdom!!!

Anyways those are just some quick words of love I have to share before i hit the hay stack and get my beauty rest! You know when we cook- or bake- mess around and play with our food-- just as the dough really does not know what it is being made into- sometimes we feel like that too.. like "Good Golly Good God!!! What are you doing with me!?....NO really GOD What are you DOING with me!!!!?" Its hard sometimes we think one thing but he is doing the complete opposite! With how he may be using us- even employing us, DEPLOYING us, placing people in our lives, moving us into new spiritual climates?



Like this poor pastry here.. has no clue, aw--- am I going to be a quiche?..... "you know those eggs are so sticky on me and that cheese makes me stink the next day......" or The dough could ponder "am I going to be a tart you know i really love sweet cherry tarts in my insides like come on please can you just make me THIS way....." ? You know i am so used to being made into a sweet apple crumble pie.... come on please just do it the way sweet i like it and am comfortable with HA!

Uh... yeah, i just love that verse cause it actually makes me laugh.. He knows what he is doing with our gifts and talents!!! We don't- but let him just use us the way he wants. Believe God is going to blow our socks off- He is going to toot our whistle you know so let him do it not ourselves! He has some pretty High thoughts for us! The sky soars high above earth, so clearly the way He works surpasses the way I will work!!! and the way he thinks is beyond the way I think! Like Duh!....i mean "duh- ohhh" ( dough !)

140,000 btu Birds Eye Piquin Chili

The first message I receive from is an urgent request from my brother, Trist. Yep he is now back in Whistler. Crazy eh!?

His urgent request was for some 140,000 btu birds eye Piquin Chili spice‏. UH Cyd.. Going to need a 911 on this ASAP. His roommate who is a “Frenchy" demolished his computer and changed his keyboard to "le François” formidable eh? And Tristan, who is yep.... pretty dumb for a smart kid can’t figure it out. Ah ZUT!
Piquin Chili Peppers- are yep 140 000 on the heat unit scale this is the toot your whistle smoke coming out of your ears hot sweat cold sweat red eyes Come on baby light my fire drill spice. Why? Jesus I have no clue why some people like it THAT hot... like this is Way too hot. Like uh I like it hot. You like it hot? Im hot hes hot, she’s hot...... but no seriously this is HOT. At the bulk food store I go to this is the spice they keep up on the top TOP shelf. It is the hottest hot hot hot on the heat scale- and infact when you would like some the clerk actually has to go outside and pour it with a gas mask on. Piquin Chili Peppers as you see above are 140 000 on the heat scale is the TOP Gun fire. Compare this to a regular spice which we are all familiar with would be a chipotle pepper (smoked jalapeno) which is 15 000 on the heat scale. So you figure it out... what is wrong with some people.

Tristan would like to really show this frenchy room mate of his who is "Boss" or man of the house and dust a little bit of this fairy dust a little here and there over there for the odd scare. I suggested trist sprinkle it in frenchys underpants. Ha. I wouldn’t even have the guts to play with the stuff. Its pure fire powder. But you know I will do this for my brother only because knowing him- he will probably end up sabotaging himself anyways... hehehe and this is the funny part.



So today I am getting excited to cater to 20 wild Dutch People for a post wedding gathering this upcoming weekend. You know they say if ya aint Dutch, YA aint MUTCH. Well the bad news is that I am not Dutch.... but the good news is that I can play Dutch pretty sweet you know. I look Hot in wooden clogs you know. :) I have a great menu planned vibrant fresh fairly simple- its going to be so beautiful with all of the flavors, colors, textures meshed together- you know how I do- love. OVBIOUSLY it is based around the BBQ. Prime Rib ciabatta Submarine sandwiches! Honk honk! Yep you got it, oh baby you got it! - And then I have some great appetizers hors derves and salads. Dessert- well going with a safe guard here and that is FREEFallin free form fruit pies. I mean -free forming- Galette pies- with a nice bouquet of tarty fruit bundled up and ozzing out from inside. Tom Petty-cause im free... "Free falling"- free form pies ...like come on now who can’t fall for a fine looking juicy loosy pie! I did a quick tester this am just to be safe- more or so just to make sure my pastry was going to be ok. Unfortunately came home to realize half the pie was gone. Nice work pops.... but that’s ok. It means it’s a free fallin.... keeps em happy. (I live at home. this is also how my sorry toosh gets free room and board these days shhhh :))



I am going to share and reflect this past week I have had a word come to me a few times about restoration. Today it hit me also pretty hard- Restoration...restoration. RE STORE- FORGET THE FORMER THINGS... Behold for god is doing a NEW THING!

"Forget the former things;

So Today i was at my favorite Chinese food store in Hamilton picking up a few secret ingredients you know I tell ya there are so many "little" people. OK like there are so many effing little people!!!Excuse my language.) The isles are so small and the whole store is pretty much one way- like no left turns!!... YOU gotta know what you want and then get the heck out- wild loud crazy Asian market. I go to this store. Because it is FULL of treasures and ya never know sometimes what you will find! I get overwhelmed! But today I have to be honest.... and I was really getting saucy in this swarthy joint. It seemed every item I had to pick up- some little person had rooted over and rummaged- I would gaze my eyes on one piece of fish- and zap- next little person in line claims it- little do I know what they are saying- I don’t speak that language!.... I turn my back on my basket and next thing you know some little person snakes my baby bok Choy! Boy o boy.... I tell ya these little people... they are sharp and quick and sneaky.... I may be bigger, but I was easily taken advantage of today. And after the finally of some little person snatching my basket, I just left the joint a bit on a rampage. Those darn little people like little Asian ompa loompas I tell ya in that place. Now don’t get me wrong - god says he will do Big and mighty things with little people- big things come in small packages right?

(This would have been my fruit of choice to dodge ball at one of them on my exit out....)

So anyways lucky this joint is not too far from my place- in downtown Hamilton. I proclaimed I would go back when I have forgiven these little people as bad as I just wanted to step on them.

So ya maybe you can relate. Infact I know you can relate. I use my example today yep as these little people totally ruined my adventure and I tell ya it was a test. As bad as I just wanted to set up a booby trap for these little people and pick one up by the collar and plow them across the market.... (Forgive me sorry) I was some tall blonde white chick commin into there territory trying do you know do as they do, shop as they shop- be all cool Asian talk like I know what they are saying probably making fun of my hat or something... I was really a nobody in that place and that’s how these little people made me feel as they helped themselves to my treasure basket. pffff!


We have all felt rummaged over. Mis taken? - taken advantage of? Lost out? Missed opportunity- turn your back on a second and snatch... she’s gone- by golly! teased and unpleased? Used and abused.... like you know just as these little munchkins did to me today? Sneaky snatches. Could be situation a something you worked hard for but someone took your claim to fame- you tried to impress someone go the extra mile and they just left ya high and dry? ... You get it eh?
This is what I am talking about with trusting god that he is a god who restores- When we want revenge- just like my bro- I tell ya-- he should not be playing with that 140 000 birds eye Piquin Chili . Trust GOD for his truth that he WILL restore (way better then we think we could really)

Even sometimes I think in the working world- in our own Dream worlds we all climb mountains- we all have high pitched dreams and goals we strive for FOR ourselves. We all want that higher place. I know I sure want a higher place- and I don’t just thrive on it-- I strive ON it! I speak for myself and I know I have been manipulated to climb the wrong mountain in my life... uh.... a few times and have been beaten and abused by them "little people" along the way... but still went ahead and climbed her anyways. I found out because when I have gotten to the top of that mountain- you realize it’s not the right one!!! So you still have to go down and trust god that he is a god who WON’T Mislead or forsake you into the wrong mountain when we are under his direction and HIS authority for his will in our lives.

Life lesson. Kinda like when you get what YOU want? Then what??
(ps - Its not always about YOU....its not about ME! And i know i sometimes forget this quite a bit!)

Make sure your climbing Mount Everest? .... Only cause that’s how you know it’s the mountain of eternal life- “Like uh God is EVER GOING to get a rest? Like hello does Mt Ever rest, EVER rest? :) How high is that darn thing any how?

So yep. I just wanted to share some love about RESTORATION. God is a god who restores on a daily basis in extreme measures. His grace and his mercy is new everyday no matter what! The hard part is sometimes just the time to receive it- appropriate it and apply it. Could even be restoration from years of climbing the wrong mountain- And finally getting there.. And these darn locusts (see below)..... . Its an inside job I guess- how we develop identity, How we truthfully become equipped to know the call and purpose on our lives from sometimes going thru what we think we want- but in the end It does not rock the boat like ya thought it would. So I just wanted to share this word about restoration - and how GOD is a GOD who Says what he says he will do- Restore to us what the enemy ment for bad he will use for the good.

AND I finish off my short soul food with the restoration god brought me after my rage when I left this store- and sweetened up my sauciness. 5 KM down the road- tucked in a side street- I find an empty parking lot. New Asian food store. Quiet. The green sign caught my eye. GRACE food market. Poped in there- Found just what I needed- and more!

He re-stored to me the simplicity of a NEW-STORE- and inside I found so much more. God is a god who yep, he sure does RE-store.

Not only do they have thorns around em- kinda like there own natural sharp picket THRORN fence.. eek- or barb wire really...... they live a very high life- on a higher bush protected from any rodents who might come in and try to bruise these rambunxioius raspies!
Except i have to admit it really stinks with the whole pick one, eat one ect deal!!! They lot more work and time to pick then Strawberries let me tell you this is for sure!!! However I managed to put in a good shift. These sweet tarts were red ripe and ridiculously refreshing on a hots summers day like today!

MILLION DOLLAR COOKIES

Hi Ya! So I am going to share with you a pretty sweet secret recipe today Infact ok some would call it the Money recipe. Cash money money Honey! As you know my brother is here visiting from Whistler BC. I do religiously send him his favorite’s treats in the mail bi-weekly. (Yes what sisters do for big brothers who get skinny if they don’t eat enough….) but he is here so I am keeping his heart and belly happy. Today was my day off I was out on the bike for long - and I am a bit “sun kissed” (smashing pumpkins ... amazing song ) more or so I am yep pretty sun kissed GOLDEn right now lets just say. Feeling pretty dang golden right now, This has inspired me to share my golden ticket recipe “ for MY Million Dollar Cookies. I am sharing it with you because what good is a million dollars if ya cant share it! You get these beauties in the oven- then we will have Not just one million dollar cookie recipe- but Two million dollar cookies!:) The more the merrier…





Now ladies let me just warn you. These golden beauties are like some REAL SERIOUS COIN you will want to keep in your purse or you know back pocket…ect . So get this sweet recipe down. Be inspired! I tell ya flip out one of these treasures in a mouth after a long day and you will have more then just the regular tarzan boy love chasing after ya heart … http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_Q13Bd1exc ( sorry just have to ad in the song --- Tarzan boy – baltimora—you know the uhhohhh ohhhh calls Jungle love…. Love worth a million bucks) And Jesus ok I hope you are pretty excited about these babies. Shim shimmer….


Million Dollar Cookies
• 1cup butter
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2cup packed brown sugar- (keeps the dark undertone of a caramel flavor, also helps keep the finished product rich Golden color )
• 3 spoonsies of vanilla
• 1 egg
• ¼ cup cornstarch – secret ingredient- SHH I said shhhhh…. Helps keep em chewy when we bake them super slow or almost under bake them for this purpose… it’s the secret… the cornstarch works similar to egg and BINDs together without that egg cakey-ness
BLEND together make sure butter is whipped well. Whip it good. Real good.
• 1 teaspoon soda and powder -little louder now-
• 3 cups flower
• 1 cup quick cooking oats
• 1-2 cup butta- scotch yep I said BUTTERSCOTCH chips
• Scor toffee hunks (they look like golden nuggets... but really are the toffee!)
• 2 cups corn flakes – optional if you want crunch with
• 1 cup flaked coconut
• I decorated with some gold pearls- I mean peril balls 


Toss in the dry ingredients- kinda like the treasures and the sand- you’re throwing into the wet ingredients…
Shape and bake at 325F Slow for 20 minutes. Slow and efficient so they come forth as PURE gold!! Soft and sweet and chewy these million dollar beauties are going to help you get your way any day! Help MAKE A WAY that is! 




So ok now here is my million dollar word for you- we Trust a recipe. We have faith in a “recipe” formula or plan we may pull out of a book- ( believing that our finished product will come out as the one in the picture - that’s faith eh? … ok maybe hope… or ok maybe a plea for mercy or gods miraculous grace for some who really just cant cook… ha) we put all of our ingredients together to whip up the perfect batch weather we even understand the formula looks right or not …. -We trust that recipe with the variables, measurements and ingredients listed…. Then... the heat gets turned up we put these cookies in a scary dark oven all alone and ha WE even trust ourselves to guard that oven timer as these beauties bake and bronze in oven to come out yet ever so golden and chewy. Wow.

So like uh… on a more important scale. Why can’t we simply just trust Gods recipe for our lives like we would follow a recipe? He has promised us to come forth as gold don’t ya know!? Ha well its not that easy is it. We get a heck of a lot of variables thrown at us- time frames, measurements, difficult people ect and also temptation to believe LIES - we go thru some pretty darn hot hot heat waves too eh?? But Truth is god has promised to never mislead or forsake us even when his recipe seems “odd” or completely not what we expect - and that he knows the ways that we take- the decisions we take—when the refiners heat gets turned up- he is testing us- sometimes its pretty hot – but in the end the truth is- that we will come forth as the gold he promises a sure fine million dollar prize.

"But he knows the way that I take;
"When he has tested me, I WILL COME FORTH AS GOLD" (job 23:10)




There really is no recipe for success. If there was we would all be successful at baking only one flavor of cookies. We should all know by now what worked for one person is not going to work the same for you even with my recipe above- that’s why I call it an outline. BE inspired! It’s the same with why we need gods Words to be our guideline for our million dollar lives in this “master crafted” million dollar love .....where we have million dollar gifts, talents and skills.
Only god has the recipe for our lives because only he can supply us with the Perfect ingredients and variables to shine forth as his golden beauties! We get caught up even as women to TRY find that perfect glass slipper or even get jealous or envious of women having what we think we want or deserve. When really…. Hello! We should just TRUST that god already has ours made! And truth is this million dollar slipper is far greater then we could ask or imagine because his heavenly perfection already has it in the recipe of our million dollar lives! - So come on now we can stop trying and trust him for that! An elder mentor i have reminds me all the time to “Cydney…. STOP trying and just start trusting more. Stop trying and TRUST- be confident and stand strong in the faith TRUST trust trust trust god for everything in everything- he promises you that no matter what we will come forth as gold-! He already has you as a gem on his crown so “shine on happy glow girl!”

"Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God” (psalm 20:7)


Trust this miraculous love being perfected in us lasts forever and that in this love we have WORTH- He paid a prime dime for us it cost us nothing but we get this incredible promise to always come forth as gold- a million dollar prize. Jesus sounds pretty sweet to me! In this worth- we have gifts, talents and skills that are FAR MORE then a million….. Canaries (Luke 12:6)! God wants to birth in all of us more then just what we can see from the right or left. I have to remind myself that God is our promoter of our gifts and talents. again I can say we can try and try and try and some of us keep rummaging and looking to the left or right – to a man or woman--- this or that —but why not just Trust God! We all know what areas this can apply to.

“No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt themselves.
It is God who is your PROMOTER
He brings one down, he exalts another” (Psalm 75: 6-7)





Ok WELL I need to go have a "cash money cookie" and glass of milk before I start counting the million flying sheep I know are going to be in my dreams tonight! Thanks for reading! I am praying that god would release a million dollar dream in your heart and spark up a million dollar desire to achieve you never ever thought possible. Trusts this million dollar love and be inspired GOD IS FAITHFUL FOR you shall come forth as gold! God is your Promoter! And the first million he will birth in you is just the beginning.... Golden.... again i say Golden. :)
