this one is called "TRISTAN" ie- my brother- this is in his room now- and the colours are very expressve of him! hehehe... tristan....

Just a quick blurb as my heart goes out to not just Elin woods but also mr Wood- aww man why do you have to be so stupid (you know i was beginning to like you as a father...)- - guess the whole world sees the so called "Stong man" the worlds number one athlete -- hits both ends of the cower scale not only just a pussy and disgrace to women and children - but also a cheetah cheetah CHEEETAH.... aw god have mercy on this who situation because it just really stinks for this whole family awww - someone once told me never to believe any of this junk that the world just cakes up to look and sound attractive to set off gossip bombs---- and i stay true to that - meh why waste our precious brain space - but jesus true or not - this is the flakey world some live in at least golf and media will be happy- a whole new set of fans and bashers of the rich man gone so so poor so pretty fast....

What a great way to complete off the year 2009- not just with queen oprah surrendering- but now another Man made idol- Cast utterly down- God takes his sword not only perhaps to open eyes - but to awaken eyes- EEK!! in what they are worshiping - They say you become what you worship right??? - We are steping into the last 25 days- before the goverment of god really pulls his name thru to a brand new 2010 --- what perfection of timing god has to tear down one and rise up another! hahaha who will it be!!

So First off i would like to apologize for maybe being a bit too saucy in some of my posts. Please forgive me- i dont mean to offend anyone or cuss like a sailor ( yes you know ya international talk like a pirate day really is back in September 19) . Not only have I been going thru a real battle myself lately wth work and pressure-- i have been greatly humbled ths past week with a very sour man who has disrupted my usual cheer. I currently have lost my voice completely Since sunday- I really am not sick- however everywhere i go- people think i have H1N1 which is not very cool, expecially when your trying to sell something of luxury cold in a professional setting. Ha ok its actully kinda funny. At least I can laugh at myself. - This morning when i forgot as i went thru the drive thru to try and order a coffee at 7am with cars behind and infront of me trying to hear me reach my head thru the window and shout ! I blew out my car wheel too last week in the pouring rain to top it off... you might think the pic is kinda funny....

Here is one of the commericals For GARMIN GPS systems - some of our filming was used for- not sure where the rest of it went! Ha!! There really is a Sasquatch in this one!!! he was hilarious at the shoot! vs me with the leprechaun in a skin suit- not sure if this is the one you can even see me for more then a split second-- meh....

Anyways I am greatly humbled today and its nice sometimes to be slowed down wthout choice- Yes to have your mouth on mute- becuase everytimg you open it you sound "husky" or horse! lol its not cool ok- but maybe i am learning something here eh? -- Dispite my setbacks- I am amaze to sit back and reflect in this fortress we live in - Man sunday was amazing- As Andre from PTL was at mosaic before he heads back home to Charlotte- and Few of the gang were gettng ready for isreal! I have never felt such a fresh annointing of Gods HOLY PRESENCE!! da holy ghost!!! amazing feeling!!!- We are so blessed being built and established on the rock he is in us - da rock star - in making of us - to simply just really today was-- Be still and know GOD is God- He has everything all figured out----- even our ways out far greater then we think we do:)

I am praying that god would lift up my brother tonight in Whistler also- Right this second infact- its 1147 pm on wednesday- and i am up becuase of him-. I know he does not read my blog- and yet does he know hes on here a bit- hehehe... - but thats for keeping tristan in your prayers and that Gods Love - THE highest high there is----reaching to the heavens would continue to open up new extra ordinary doorways of hope for him- that one would not even be able to fathom- I am praying for Tristan to simply just recieve and be taken by this love in such a miraculous surpassing sort of a trist way - I am reminded of Ezekiel 37 the valley of dry bones right now - that when he prophesied to the dry bones- and flesh, muscles and tendons came into them-- when they all came together- danced about - and were brought back to LIFE-- life life-- however the part that stands out at me is that it was a VAST ARMY of them coming out of the grave-- not just one or two- dry areas- the outcome- the harvest of after god breathed this life--- remember- god is a god of abundance- of might and power like you would not believe- so when we are praying for that stale , hard area, dry and lifeless area- perhaps a few - - gods outcome is far greater then what we expect- the meausre that god uses is not even close to what our confined minds may digest- FOR GODS MIRACULOUS whirlwinds OF magestic power are INFINITE when he shows up and takes over!!!! -- So i am reminded to expect a VAST crew- vast army- a vast array of his supernatural abundance to enlighten, revitalize and spark up LIFE life life in all things of need- In Christ we have authority to do this- so thanks for speaking Life with me right this second! ok gotta fly- pillow shack- love shack baby love shack-

I love god) All of these things and ways people are trying to set themselve up against god and make man made idols, religions- usless laws of attraction lol so bloody messed UP...

Like Why do we settle for simply convenience when we know god is calling us and leading us to an exceptionally high place ? did you hear that ???????

an EXCEPTIONALLY EXTRORDINARY HIGH PLACE.

(Ok First sorry wait---- so Just Got in from watching the movie 2012. Hmm what to say in short. God I love you. Jesus: WHAT AN HONOR IT IS TO HAVE YOU AS A SAVIOR. I have so many things to say and laugh about in comic relief of this 2012 movie. The Enemy has the world so numb and spiritually stupid trembling with fear. The one thing the enemy is good at is being patient eh???. The false emotions, false humility, where is everyone turning to? where are they running to who are they trusting??? and lack of any line of context or what matters in this movie- is seriously messed up- The funnest thing about the last line in the movie. 7 year old girl says to dad, : " Daddy, no more pull ups" wow... great.. like i sure as hell dont think you will be finding a pair of pull ups after the earth has just cracked and been deystroyed lol !!!
faith hope and love- have not love, i am just a clanging gong ( wait till you see the Tibetan man clang the gong- he speaks of faith- hope... uh...and??? oh what is he clanging again? oops gong gong gong....oops hes gone! washed away like snow, b ye bye). The special effects are pretty rad , oh and i love this stuff the TSUNAMI wave was so cool!!! I know i have felt i have dont this alot in my life!)

"When Lot hesitated, the angels grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them. As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, "Flee for your lives! Don't look back, and don't stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!"

But Lot said to the angels "No, my lords, please! Your servant has found favor in your eyes, and you have shown great kindness to me in sparing my life. But I can't flee to the mountains; this disaster will overtake me, and I'll die. Look, here is a town near enough to run to, and it is small. Let me flee to it—it is very small, isn't it? Then my life will be spared." ( ps-That town is named Zoar, because it is very little.)

Anyways dispute
God shows that He cares more about rescuing the righteous than destroying the unrighteous – saving people is much, much higher on God’s agenda than condemning. Clearly . God and his unforsaking love that never gives up on us.....Even if we may be bloody cowards . God still saves us- his chosen before he will destroy the non . And so the Angels urge Lot to save himself and preserve his family along with him. Lot is a slow selfish lazy coward- probably felt embarrassed and pretty crazy when he was trying to share with his future son in laws that god was going to destroy the city.... Come on lot!- So the angels, They infact have to grasp his hands and escort him- his wife and daughters to flee out of the city. Because of this Lot barters with the angels- and they did agree not to destroy the small town of Zoar- where Lot ends up selfishly ending up- INSTEAD OF THE MOUNTAIN .

Again....The lord still saved Lots life, yet Lot chose to settle in a low place rather then a high place where i am sure the view would of been worth it....( read a little bit further in Genisis 19 and then what twisted crookedness ends up happening becuase he is stuck in a lowly cave??? why wouldn't he just trust god!? - the same god who could blind all of the Sodom and Gomorrah crazy men trying to barge down his home, uh what!? god couldnt ensure Lot fled to the mountains safe with his family and crew. Lot; sorry to say it- but YOU ARE A PUSSY!!! Lot You spoil the angels with hospitality - yet when the time comes.. You cant answer the damm call on your life? Rise up and Run to the life you were REALLY called to live?!- on top of a mountain with your wife and family and their finances??? Aww man- another man in the bible who really needs some hemmm hemm... balls. BIG BALLS. (excuse my language.)

Ya we live in a crazy Sodom and Gomorrah times. The world is WACKO and yes without god - one would satisfy desires in some pretty twisted sick selfish arrogant ways eh? i speak for myself, and yep. But Why do we keep settling for a smaller "city" a lonely cave when we have the option of being carried and led to a mountain Top? Whats it going to take?

So, SO SO much love love love over you. And just remember , what AN honor we have to be chosen. Anyways crazy week- today was all the way Vineland to Downtown for an audition to play the role of a scandinavian Ski bunny- uh... ya. Please laugh. a XC ski bunny for a large olympic BELL commercial.... thats the cool thing uh need i say.
God have your way, i am just this vessel. i continue to trust god for more oppourtunities advancing his kingdom- the way HE wants. - Its not about me anyways. If he wants me in this commercial- then he will have his way, if not there is something better comming. Many are a plans in a mans heart- but only the lords will prosper. He is just most concerned with obedience. Uhmmm and sometimes thats the hard part is just TRUSTING and not trying so hard to get what we want- Cause if ya get what ya want? THEN WHAT????

His ways are so much more rad then our ways. the plans and dreams he has for us are so much more magestic as the stars in procession. For his thoughts are HIGHer- just as the heavens are higher then the earth! so yep i am not going to say anymore.. gods words will not return to him empty when he speaks!! Read isaiah 55. Its one of my favorites! Is so So securing that god IS and is Always doing a good SOLID thing in us- His purpose his plans provail over ours!

My biggest guilty splurge today.
I lately have had an extravagant fleshly desire to purchase really really like really tight pants just this past week.
I spoiled myself today and purchased a pair of Armani Exchange jeans amd they fit like a glove. They are classy and have two big angel wings on the bum. and my bum is just aching to wear them tomorrow and take flight- or fight! oops. watch out mom.

Annnnnnnd ok i also fell in love with a 30,000 Mother of Pearl , Rose Gold Breitling like mega "Lady bling" Watch. real rich materials in this god made diamond of a watch.

I also have a male store clerk who is wanting to taking me on a date now who is half my size. seriously why is it only men half my size ask me out?....

Yep today 9/11.. my birthday. Quiet and still . A great day of gattitude for how blessed i am to simply just be here and where i am in life this very second.

Uh however we did JUST about had to call 9-11 or at least a crane to get out of the sushi joint tonight. Jesus God bless Maureen and Albert. They sure know what they are doing when they order :) From now on i am going to eat Sushi with them :)

Aww so here are a few pictures of this evening - the sky was sooooooo amazing out it was like cotton gandy with a golden glaze- we were trying so hard to get the fire in the sky in our pictures- but by the time you get one blonde- a chinese... and another jap- now that we are international- at stoney ridge- james ANd Sonomi- - ( sorry sonomi... lol ) we missed the prime time to snap the pic! Thats ok tho...

So this is Sonomi.

She is the one special part about my day that makes me laugh really hard.

She has such a great sense of humor.
Ya such a light free spirited heart once you get to know her and understand that
english is her second language- once ya break the ice with sonomi- she really is a wild kitten.

The most beautiful thing about Sonomi - is that her name actually means "BEautiful Garden" in Japanese! which explaines why everyday the first thing she does is go out the garden and replace every single flower vase with fresh roses- she even brings her own gloves to get good grip right into the roses!!! and has explained a few of the cutest flowers to me-- we have roses.. that are called "iceberg" roses- they look like bunches of lettuce!!

I know i always think of sonoma country also- like hot and sunny cali! when i think like sonoma means --- "valley of the moon" also- she is that garden in the valley of the moons magestic fair still beauty on glow.

Clearly is Japaneses- and she teaches Japanese at Brock university She has also given me some great lessons too. But i need her here to remember again.... uh how do i say it again

Anyways ya sonomi rules. I love her to death.
My territory now is corporate christmas so i have been kicked up to the upstairs office making love on the phones tangling up myself in the cords locking myself in the presidents office and secretly eating cheese... shhhh ....:).....and the best part is just running down the stairs to make sure she is still smiling about something stupid and silly :) becuase we all know you cant take life too too seriously- the best is yet to come!!!

She is such a hard worker and i know that God has a big blessing for her humble humble hard working heart. And i just pray that he would open up that door for her exactly where she needs it most because she is a real porcelin doll with a sweet heart of flesh in that vessel she stands in! god says--

Every where we get "mind body spirit - or you know all this lame new age- body soul spirit --- yogi hogi yoga junk-- people all out to have some hob nob temporary spiritual tacky experience-- that seriously makes NO sense unless your connected to one god now and forever and your vision is heaven on earth-....???? like what is feeding peoples minds when they are in communial yoga class i always wonder- like if you dont worship god? then what DO you worship???? who is your idol ?? if it aint god??? who do you thank at the end of the day? who do you thank at the beginning of the day like and what exactly- who exactly are you thinking about in this meditation class?

we really are not here as humans having a temporary spiritual experience- like everyone does for a quick fix- ie- witch craft star worshiping astrology??? uh.. ok....... duh ( why worship the stars when you could worship the creator of the stars???!!!! romans5 worship the creator- not the creation-- ie- do you worship the dress or the designer ladies!!!???!!!! now think about that!)

but gods truth is--- we are here as god given spirit FILLED beings- simply having a temporary human experience- just these vessels holding gods treasure - (for LIFE begins in heaven!!!! And thats a mega vision- cause do you know how amazing this is what we have to look forward to?- the best part is that our life here today and now- is already pretty amazing!!!!and our life here is just going to get even better till heaven -- and that is a pretty long way away for some of us!!!!!- god of increase- and god who is buiding us up - when HE makes us great he keeps us great!- god has designed us for excellence-- his passion is excellence:))

anyways 1 thessalionians 5:23- has spoken to me- about how if we first nurture our SPIRITs-- not our flesh- or minds or even our bodys ( ya uh hello this is hard!!!!) - but spirit first with the richest of foods.. wow..... what depth is this love we can hold so richly in him - we need to FEED our spirits. (Like even sometimes you know a coffee can make gods word sound so much more appealing eh? wink wink!)
like how many times do we satisfy or nurture and pamper ladies come on now-- yep.... first our body? ie- our fleshly desires--

second- our souls- un godly relationships- or a relationship we put before god??

then ok thirdly our spirits- ie: church only when we want to just feel good or really need something from god- using god- ??? no come on-- just think about that for a bit?

anyways- i am not going to write so so much cause its a pretty deep word- SPIRIT- SOUL and body - our god says!!! how do we really place the order of these things? do we really want to be operating in the fullness god is calling us to live- a mega life of radical inheritance and SUPERNATURAL LOVE and power!???

its a child who wrote a post it letter in the middle of sunday school last week TELLING- MY mother what to do- more or so Say....

A child telling an adult what to do..... (ha dispite even the circumstance... what if he really really HAD to go???? uh oh.....)

... sometimes i think we need just a simple reminder- ..Children are such a blessing from the lord its unbelievable how much they have to teach US.
Someone once said that to me- about really kids are the ones teachiNG us.. and it really is true.

however i am not sure if we took the advice from above... we could of had a puddle on the floor last week ....( when ya gotta go... sometimes YA GOTTA GO!!!:)))))

So mumsie teaches about a million african grade 1-3 year olds -- a mega litter of em suday school at the hope centre and its pretty much the funniest cutest thing I hear about after church. like aww man kids- Sometimes- i have to go and help her out cause there are SO many- boys and girls all rambunxiously ready and eager for god- the boys cant sit still- the girls on the other hand..- kids aww man ha they are so funny at this age. some of them alls they want to do is just touch you. the smiles too.

Last week my mom and i could not stop laughing cause one of the african kids was in love with my moms hair. " oh i like your hair" she said to mumsie... haha as you know africans have such different texture ad rad style of hair them we do- ha it rules.. it was really funny... oh MRs's G, - i really like your hair! it was so precious.

tonight mom sat at the table getting ready and all of the lessons are so cute she has planned- and sometimes really i think we all need that reminder- these sweet yet so so true check lists as to whats missing sometimes!

I am blown....

Today, well.. hahaha.... I had to take a picture of this gentleman out front of my house and most importanly this licence plate that summarized pretty much how i felt starting the day.

Not only today- as i took today off for a casting call i had downtown

I awake to a flooded toilet which from the third floor of my house had flooded all the way down to the basement. Ruined the walls. Wallpaper, living room cushions, and the books in boxes in the basement. What a disaster. i got every single towel soaking wet trying to mop up a mess.

Little then do my parents- decide to tell me the insulation boys are coming today to fix my room above the garage where my room is saturated in fancy women gear ( yes talking feminine beauty products in the under garment department. High heals, feathers ect... PS- this is embarassing!! ok!!?!

Thats when i am about to rock and roll run out of the garage in my car like jail bait- and i see this BLOW IT BLOW IT BLOW IT licence plate with mr. pony tail waiting at my door to get in with his entire crew to my room

(ok so clarifications licence plate is "BLOWIT" because he BLOWS the walls with insulation stuff ok- YOU should of seen the size of his pipe and tunnel he had in my room blasting my walls with insulation fluff!!!! --- but i know what you were probably thinking.... )

Holy Jesus. yes so uh and the house is still flooded.. and i have to be downtown at the DVP for a audition in rush hour at 520 pm....

Pray with me for favor that god would not only use my physical body- but my mouth and voice... i really am more then just that and want to be more then that for god in the media. In his time. I know i am- WE are continually being transformed in the beauty of his love he lavishes so richly on all of his children- he has so much for us and the generation we are living in- i keep praying that god would awaken the dry areas - that god would breathe life- breath and refresh LIFE- real life real love- what the purpose of real life of love is about-- those areas of young adults that NUMB what real love is- Gods "perfect love cast out fear" ( 1 john 4:16).- god knows the desires of our hearts- he knows what we want-- and he wants it TOO for us- FOR god IS LOVE- got his love???? but the truth is God wants what we want and he wants that AND WAY more-- because if ya get what YOU want? then what????-- WE Just must continue to"acknowledge him in all of our ways and he shall make our paths straight!" (proverbs 3:6)

Well only by the grace of god and his mercies refreshed on me in and thru this quiet storm i had today.. i am pretty sure anyone could relate to a day on their own terms. :)

Ok so ovbiously this doesnt look so great...
cyd ontop of poor paul in wheel chair... haha his poor legs i tell ya....
but no no no its not what it looks like..... it really is just a kodak moment where i jump on paul for a picture for some lovin! jesus even his little people- the phillipinos dont get to be this lucky and give him a smack like this!! mwh!!

We had an amazing thanksgiving- more or so thanks living it should be for HOW blessed we are in christ- he is such a god of increase in all perspectives dimensions and angles in relationships of life!! he totally blasts open new doors and sets up new boundaries we could never ask think or imagine... he IS SO FAITHFUL.. and since the last time we were with paul- so much of heaven has imparted into this mans life and home! Pauls spirit and heart were so charged his good god glow was so ON!!! Awww

Paul Marshall is a close family friend since i was a baby- and yep he still bugs me about when i was a we babe and the wild days of my race car parents before kids came along... Paul used to race indy cars with my dad in the younger days. Unfortunitly has suffered a severe injury and has been in a wheel chair for 30 years.

His assignment with the lord is not done and god just keeps on making him stronger.
Hes a real iron horse i tell ya.
Paul has had some serious heart surgerys more then twice- God has kept him so strong.
Of course we all have good and bad days. But Paul, God has not just done miracles thru you- BUT YOU ARE THE MIRACLE!!!

The second i came into the house he was blaring issy lizzie rock and roll and pink floyd.. then of course aerosmith.... did you know aerosmith in the older days sang amazing grace??? Well i didnt.. paul told me this... lol

good old rock and roll. i burned him the best of jimmi hendrix while we had dinner- ovbiously some sweet sweet lovin tom petty ( and also about four HILLSONG cds too!! :))) god you are so good.

God we have so much to be thank FULL for great FULL for -

I would really like him to come to church with me- i offered that tho he lives in AURora ( about 1.5 hrs away) I would like to pick him up and take him with me to my family- the hope centre - its really hard for him to get out of the house- and have someone take him to church- and i just want to do anything i can for him to keep his spirit free and charged---Some days he feels good- some days are tough-

so pray with me that god ALMIGHTY would impart and flow into pauls life; more freedom- health healing- LOVE- refreshing relationships- NEW AND old and more surpassing power from the holy spirit that would set up new boundaries- boundaries enlarging his territory -- breaking down any false four walls that have kept him contained in JESUS NAME! God please would you make the impossible - possible in pauls life!

Well i am astonished about how radical my saturday morning ride was...
I love to sing.
Infact ok.... i like really love to sing...
Expecially when its bright and early... the sun is rising.. i am outside.. the sun is beaming on my face- i am bundled up now it is fall.. just flowing so smoothly on my bike... and ok yes i sing cause very few people actually can hear me at 730 am way up these bountiful country roads i love to ride on- Priceless beauty on a crisp fall morning...

Except these cows.
wow. Maybe i did not realize how loud i really was singing along to my rock and roll tunes. oh baby- pump it up! As soon as i pass these mother ships (aka- the cows) Its so funny and cute how they all just shockingly plung there heads my way.

I frikkin love pie.
infact i am going to be honest here and admit that i am eating some frikkin pie -- store bought- well bakery bought from a local farm just down the street from stoney ridge--- pfff yes i know, but i am allowed to taste test others -- its raspberry tho- and its like so so ... so so tart- i love raspberries in anything! right now with a scoop ice ice creamer aww thank you GOD i might just almost be in heaven.

Ah Yes.

Here we are.

Smoke Show.

Its 1230 midnight and the kitchen is masked with smoke from the sugar that is caramelizing now at the bottom of the oven.. which should be caramelizing on my apples instead.....

Mumsie just came down stairs in her pjamaz in a frantic with all of this smoke all flustered like older women get...... annnnnnnd I am cracking up laughing with the fan going and every window open trying to air out this damm place before the old man gets up... lol oopsies...

I am making Tarte tatin- for the winerys New FRENCH cuisine menu this season. To go along side beef bourginion, coq a vin and fresh chewy crusty baquette for a whole hearted meal come this crisp season up in vineland....

Why did I say i would offer my expertise..? jesus i dont really know... cause the truth is- yes i may be a pastry chef-.. but i have never made this type damm tart, - tarte tatin in MY LIFE- nope not even in school- i dont think i have ever even seen one- wierd i suppose? ... SO anywho, shhh please button up this one too- and dont tell andre my old frenchie euro boss who thinks i actually know what i am doing for this ocassion.... you hear me? SHHHHH!!!!! i am very good at improvising dont ya know?

Anyways you know i guess if you want to read up about the traditional story of Tart tatin- this french caramelized apple dessert- well --- you know what? well after reading this-- i dont feel too bad about having the entire first floor of the house in hott thick smokes ... this dessert was actually an accident way back- ha what a pay back!!!! so read this---- THE fumes come along with it if you want it to turn out perfect!!! wink wink >>>>>

Smelling the burning, she tried to rescue the dish by putting the pastry base on top of the pan of apples, quickly finishing the cooking by putting the whole pan in the oven. After turning out the upside down tart, she was surprised to find how much the hotel guests appreciated the dessert. An alternative version of the tart's origin is offered on the Brotherhood of the Tarte Tatin website,[1] according to which Stéphanie baked a caramelised apple tart upside-down by mistake. Regardless she served her guests the unusual dish hot from the oven and a classic was born!"
Cool... heres my recipe i used for Inspiration .. ok like I used WAY more butter- and a few scoops of brown sugar with my white-- - and a little dash of flour too on the apples- which i used granny smith apples- (tart and crisp for cooking).... and hey alright now--- A whole lotta love went into these girls.

frozen puff pastry sheet (from a 17 1/4-ounce package)
1/2 stick (1/4 cup) unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
7 to 9 Gala apples (3 to 4 pounds), peeled, quartered lengthwise, and cored

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Roll pastry sheet into a 101/2-inch square on a floured work surface with a floured rolling pin. Brush off excess flour and cut out a 10-inch round with a sharp knife, using a plate as a guide. Transfer round to a baking sheet and chill.

Spread butter thickly on bottom and side of skillet and pour sugar evenly over bottom. Arrange as many apples as will fit vertically on sugar, packing them tightly in concentric circles. Apples will stick up above rim of skillet or the 10 inch pan you are using.

Cook apples over moderately high heat, undisturbed, until juices are deep golden and bubbling, 18 to 25 minutes. (Don't worry if juices color unevenly.)
( my apple arrangement before the pastry goes on top)

Put skillet in middle of oven over a piece of foil to catch any drips. Bake 20 minutes (apples will settle slightly), then remove from oven and lay pastry round over apples.

( with the pastry on top starting to bulge)

Bake tart until pastry is browned, 20 to 25 minutes. Transfer skillet to a rack and cool at least 10 minutes.

Just before serving, invert a platter with lip over skillet and, using potholders to hold skillet and plate tightly together, invert tart onto platter. Replace any apples that stick to skillet. (Don't worry if there are black spots; they won't affect the flavor of the tart.) Brush any excess caramel from skillet over apples.

I call em my "Lavender Buttons"

OH baby!

(Did you know that they say lavender is the #1 Scent they say men crave on a woman???...hmmmmm.....)

ok now keep buttoned up if i share this with ya!

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups (3/4 pound) butter, at room temperature (no substitutes - NO IFS ANDS OR BUTTS! )
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons very finely chopped lavender florets (fresh or dried- I have harvested from stoney ridge our magnificent herb garden with the roses we have)

2 1/3 cups flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon salt

PreparationPreheat oven to 325°F.
Cover bottoms of two baking sheets with parchment or brown paper. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, lavender, and mint with an electric mixer. Mix until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add flour, cornstarch, and salt and beat until incorporated. Divide dough in half. Flatten into squares and wrap in plastic. Chill until firm.
On a floured board, roll or pat out each square to a thickness of 1/2 inch. Cut the dough into 1 1/2 -inch round buttons. Transfer to baking sheets, spacing cookies about 1 inch apart. Prick each cookie several times with a fork- aka- the "button holes "

. Bake 20 to 25 minutes until pale golden (do not brown). Cool slightly, then transfer to a rack. Sprinkle with lavender powdered sugar.
Garnish:

lavender powdered sugar: Put a 4 or 5 sprigs of lavender flowers in a sealed jar with powdered sugar for a day before using the sugar.

Crazy day. Wake up to a 7am call back for another audition except this time with the directors.. have to be downtown toronto in two hours and its flooding bloody rain out.. eek.... okeee I am not going to spill the beans until I have the authority to spill the beans.. let hope they will be jump for joy jumping beans..... hehehehe

And i have been pumping up the Jam- the rhythm in my heart has been so rich lately to just shout out to god for seriously HOW good he is... its so amazing how he reminds us how he loves us- I think sometimes i forget that god does not focus on our weaknesses-- only we do--- gods strength is made perfect in our weaknesses-- His grace is sufficient-- his grace is enough!!! We have all fallen short of the glory- but he says stand firm- buckle up our belts of truth and rise up in the faith- god can do all things but fail and HE is for us-- HE knows our hearts- and he is so faithful to do what he promises-- his PERFECT LOVE CAST OUT FEAR!! ok heres the REASON.
BREAD.
Reason bread. uh... i mean raisin bread.
It took me three days to make.
Yes slight dilemmas (outside my fantasy culinary clouds i live on and make many hungry hearts and belly's smile... called uh, life....)
Started with a sour dough starter (i have had a sour dough starter for almost two years in my fridge-- keep feedin this puppy....) .. then to a two day sponge ( the gluten base for really amazing texture in bread) ... then to a whole new complete sour dough fermenting starter- uh cause i accidentally left it out...... then to an overnight proof.... there were some delays. But all in all it was a good reason for this all purpose flower ----TO flourish into some pretty delicious Cinnamon raisin walnut bread.

so Lets just call it REASON BREAD OK :)

and because of this it Also is a new season eh eh eh!?
AND ps- also i do not have a recipe for you.. becuase.. the truth is.. i never use a recipe.....

There is something about the water that my flesh just longs to be near thats why i just love to have visuals of where i dream of being. That splashing refreshment of a crashing wave i am yet to experience. Its been crazy day. Infact i almost thought it has been TWO days- but really its just been ONE day- just non stop- The one thing i want to do- as i get home from work- is just go twinkle on the piano. However again.. few limitations.
I live at home with my rents. And it is dead quiet in this house.

Right now I am Burning a kings of Leon cd with some of there new/old stuff- for our wine maker. Gord is a pretty darn sweet dude- traveled the entire world tasting and getting his hands, heart and palet on some pretty sweet vines. Gord who is 33 can really make love with these grapes we have up in vine land- the harvest is just about here- and aside from bringing in raisin bread for the gang today- i also figure he should need some pretty good music to keep him rockin out while he is pretty much going to be sleeping in the barrel room guarding his babies for harvest....... )) KOL-- They are alright.. but its really getting hard for me to listen to this kinda new generation rock and roll uh.... junk- (sorry no pun intended)- bunch of Lost people singing about a lost hope- that oh i just pray that they would one day find-- "use somebody?" .... uhg..... its a sad song-- there is no greater love then the love of god and Christ Jesus.... Don't get me wrong- these guys can rock out any which way or another they want - star guitar man like so so awesome (i wish i could too Jesus...) - but man what they sing about is so sad and i just wish that god would be revealed to even these kids thru music- by giving them sound minds to hear gods spirit in music--- SOUND minds!!! in harmony- not just music- in the harmony of heavenly sounds as god can erupt refreshed ears and hearts any way or another-- its the LOVE its the love lvoe love that can and will fill any void in life- even our deaf ness-- our BLINDNESS - more love more power!- -there is so much more to life then this- For what good is it for man to gain the world- from running to one thing- to the next- even in the making of becoming A big shot------ yet loose his soul- ones soul becomes even more faint and lost in the running in becoming..... A fake and more lost and in complete then ever!!!? JESUS!!! yes jesus really is the reason.

So i was going to enter the milton fall fair Pie baking contest.

Until i found out first prize was $10.
Instead my old man just offered to pay me $30 and bake him i pie.
I took the offer- plus i will get to eat the pie too :)

May do another Mtb race this weekend with my old man challenging me to race with him.
We will see how i feel come sunday morning.

Again an Ammmmmmmazing week up at the Winery.
My mind is birthing many new creative ideas as my new territory and freshly promoted postion is now managing the title of "corporate sales this season and Christmas , i am trying to not get overwelmed.... but more or so too excited!!!! :) Lots of marketing and USP ( unique selling points) I am just starting to brew up in my heart and mind and let this Garden winery sprout some new seeds to florish in some pretty extravagant ways!

Anyways. Like i previous spoke about was - the basics- why are we here and what is our assignment here on heart?..... read genisis 2. To manage, care and tend for the garden-- to manage the KINGDOM OF GOD!! to multiply and increase in number .... ( That is when god attaches us to our significant other......)

Alright. So I have been a little off canter with blogging. Truth is, i have kept it on the DL... buttttt God has blessed me and provided me with a new Oportunity, a new door... ah A NEW JOB!!!! I have obtained a job in SALES for Stoney Ridge Winery Up in Vineland - Niagras "Garden" Winery! I have taken on this postition as well as continuing to keep up my personal chefing and catering ( Heck now we will have a wine sponsor!!!.... and also keepin up with my Girls- maintaining with my personal training at the womens Spa I work out of- Still gotta pump it up, pump it up pump it up!!) The Winery is absolutely stunning -- full of vibrant refreshing life, true beauty being surrounded with ripe harvest buldging fruit of the vine and extravagant flowers, roses decored everywhere and a fine cheese boutique inside our retail shop! For the next month i will be kickin it up- well shall i say pickin it up! The Harvest is here!!! - and saturating my heart, soul and pallet in some sure fine Wine. I am in awe God. Given the opportunity to learn hands on the art and craftmanship of the luxurious world of Wine..... oh this is just the beginning.

I am Taking my level 1 in wines this fall to eventualy work towards my sommollier certification... this is a further down the road goal.

I totally had a BBQ tonight. We Made miss ITALIANO MOTza Burgers. Like hello mama mia.. mumma mumma mummma MUMMA mia.. speaking of new mothers THATS amore eh? ..... Yummi mummi that is... no sorry woops calm down cyd we hit up some mama mia lottza mottza burgs- on some focaccia buns--- but i am posting about this big boy here as seen above. THE AUSSIE BURGER.

i get a free bee here from i call em my " AUssie Posse" You know from way out uh down under. Thank you my beautiful sisters love love love and bless you, i give you credit on here but i still think our canadian burgers bigger and better. Uh we breed .. uh cows... uh.. not sure what kinda aligator or kanga ranga roo chewed boot meat cuts ya get over there what i guess you call ground beef... pffff... wait a second i guess thats why you specialize in the SURF right!... take me to the surf....

Here are the ingredients for the meat patties (4 servings)

1 pound of ground beef ( what they really mean is kanga roo meat right gals?)

1 egg -

1/3 cup of breadcrumbs or old bread cubes

1 large spoon of garlic powder or 2 cloves of garlic

( fresh garlic but we’re out of it. We’ve had a lot of vampires hanging around lately ---- i think you mean tazzmanian devils right?)

1 finely chopped, medium-sized onion (or 2 large spoons of onion flakes)

2 large spoons of cooking wine.

Salt and pepper to taste.

Here’s what you need for the toppings:

1 large sliced onion to fry.

4 eggs to fry. uh,,, i think your supposed to put it IN the meat not fry on top!? Maybe this is a breaky burgs? heck this could be a breaky lunchy and dinner burger for me This is for sure!

4 rashers of bacon

1 knob of butter to fry the onion, egg and bacon. who frys bacon in butter???? lol

Lettuce

Tomato

Canned beets

(Bald: An Aussie calls a beet a beetroot. No connection to the “root” alluded to above)

4 rings of pineapple ( ok now NOW your talkin)

Ketchup ( Tomato sauce if you’re an Aussie)

Mayonnaise

ALL Purpose FLower Part 1

Life really IS a Beautiful Garden.

"The LORD God planted a Garden toward the east, in Eden; and there He placed the man- Adam whom He had formed... he Placed him there to Cultivate it, work it and take care of it...." (Genesis 2:8,15)

Where am i headed with this blog? Well i think we all get asked and have questioned.... about purpose. What is my Purpose here on earth--? "How do i know if what i want- my dreams- will line up with the purpose God has for me?.... I get asked that probably the most. And sometimes its hard in our generation to drop our bags and just trust God that he reallllly does know our hearts DEEPEST desires. But then i am reminded.... uh Truth is, where do you think your dreams, thoughts, aspirations, our deep deep desires and passions are coming from- who do you think births these dreams in us to want to pursue such radical surreal, yet SO REAL achievements ?????( that really- only thru god we will be able to achieve right????)

Anyways i have to be short. I have been saturating in the book and beginning of Genesis. Such a RAD, beauty full extravagant book to understand- IN the beginning-- I like to read it in the perspective understanding Gods character in how everything he made and how he made to evolve -- GOD OF ORDER, God of INCREASE ----

Its pretty straight forward. God has really has given us Dominion, Authority, Gods Image in us - the man and woman he created- in his liking-- as our purpose to rule over and tend for his garden ---- The purpose is not work ( i don't like that word!!)- or "to just do nice things so we feel all warm and fuzzy inside " -- it is the assignment-- the ASSIGNMENT from God- where he has placed us, to impart heaven on earth- his kindom come- advance this luscious luxurious paradise of GOd! - just as he first PUT Adam, when he placed him in The Garden of Eden- to manage and tend the Garden, "to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over ALL THE EARTH over all creatures that move along the ground" Genesis 1:26----- he has given all of us- to Manage his Kingdom here Heaven on earth-- Life is such an exuberant garden we all have to manage and tend for, the assignment.

Can you think of your life and apply this in terms of visualizing the Garden you tend?

Well.
Here I am.
Today was pretty awesome.
Today was not just pretty awesome, but also a pretty humbling experience.

I entered myself in the Ontario Cup Provincial Mountain bike Championships, along side my old man this morning. Memories of when i first started racing. It was my father who i would tag along with him to his races- race car and then till now the mountain bike when i was just a wee nib 10 yrs old , he would drag me out when i was 11 Saturday mornings with him and the guys to ride ( dads way of "babysitting"..) Until i finally decided i may as well be racing too.

Today I finished just a minute off of first place , not bad for my first race back ( also my third mountain bike ride out this year!!) obviously i did not enter the ELITE category.. but i tell ya these expert women sure do know how to shred just as hard!! Aw man you have no idea it felt SO incredible.
I guess i kinda wanted to enter the race today because it was for me today the opportunity that i had as an extreme athlete again to really to APPLY, APPROPRIATE AND ACTIVATE this power that we have living in us as children of GOD... and ok let me tell you this- God really showed me up today that HIS STRENGTH really is made perfect in my weakness!! i am not a climber.. at all.. ok and 4 times up the kelso mountain.. uh oh good lord there were times i did not even feel my body- i did not even feel my flesh!! - i swear it was god just "floating" me to the top- but ya it obviously hurt- but ITS JUST tapping into that PAIN TOLERANCE we all have a set gage within us also right.. push push push push push!!!!!

You know i was remined in such a potent measure this morning-----Its that false battle inside of us that trys to defeat us-- "its not the size of the Dog in the fight, its The size of the fight inside of the dog!!!!" It is an inside "up top" job IN our minds- For its not a battle as the world fights- "Our struggle is NOT AGAINST flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms!" Ephesians 6:12 the PARANOID minds that let the strength we have in us from being un-activated or fall into a mental trap if we get tired, weak, emotional, moody, hungry, lonely ect----- Just as when ok---- Eve first ate that apple you know.. like Way back... Uh Genesis hello .... what did that serpent say to pervert her mind from the truth and into taking the WRONG path....,,,,, "Did God REALLY SAY???.... " it was HER MIND that was attacked!! And you know MAN was created IN THE IMAGE OF GOD- YES WE were created in gods image- his likeness- (genisis 1:27)--- what the enemy said to Eve was " if you eat the apple, you will become "Like God"....( genisis 3:5) but the truth was that they already were in THe same image as god!!!! so what i am trying to say here is -- what the enemy attacks is ---OUR IMAGE--- OUR CONFIDENCE---- US TO DOubt ourselves of what super natural gods image and super natural stregnth living in us!!! He tries to mix up and pervert what gods loving power full words declare about the Dominion he has given us over the earth. Why do we let ourselves go all confused, haywire and flustered from operating in this super natural stregnth, God IN US? ? Our PEACE of mind peace is stirred up because we let the enemy battlefield our minds- when god is pretty straight FORWARD. Hear that. I know i am speaking to myself right now.

Anyways I hope that hits you like it hit me. How incredible is our God?

Yep so Today it really was glorious for me personally only because Yep you know it feels pretty sweet to know i still got Guh GUh GASSSSS in the tank and i can shred just as hard as i used to. Sweet Jesus it felt amazing. So fun to go FAST, FLOW , smooth, in Rhythm. Awe man. I was reminded the most simple of words when yeah.. it was that last time up the mountain....

"I can do all things thru Christ who gives me strength!"

Anyways yeah. So would i do it again. Well, meh.. sure. ask me tomorrow.. To be honest it was not my legs that hurt-- it was my lungs. i don't know if i could do too much more up the mountains. I think so many times we psyke ourselves out OVER the itsy bitsy stuff that's so irrelevant, the noise, the fog, - its that FEAR we have- the PARANOIA- of the world we let in our minds- (FEAR = False Evidence APPEARING REAL!! ) - The same power that conquered death- LIVEs in us-- JESUS!! when God is for us, nothing can stand against us! Its supernatural strength in this love- to him be ALL THE GLORY.

( Ya ya i know its a kinda "tacky" dorky looking sport... great for people watching)
( but sometimes its cool to be a dork all geared up)

I was going to keep it a surprise but you know after riding the provincial Ontario Cup Mountain bike Course today i am pretty stoked and think i might still have it in me- My popsies and I had a "mountain bike date" up at Kelso escarpment this afternoon annnnnd Guess who smoked him???.....uh ok not going to lie--- only till he got a flat. (My dad is 62 and he still shredds hard every race! #1 Ontario for over 60! way to go old man)

Ya so anywho, It felt so incredible to just giver and kill it today on the mountain bike! ALRIGHT...i forgot how much CLIMBING stinks! but climbing like all painful situations and circumstances CAME TO PASS AND NOT STAY!!! The single track is SO SO fast there!! oh sweet Jesus feels so good and once you find your "inner rhythm" and collaborate that with the rhythm on the race course-- baby, this is what can BLOW your mind with this surpassing power - multitude of strength we have living inside of us-- to actually realize victory in the worlds perspective is actually AFTER US!!! yes victory is after us.. the world wants what we already have! "For greater is he that is IN ME then who is in the world!"(1 john 4:4) - to God be the Glory!!! THE SAME POWER THAT CONQUERED THE GRAVE LIVES IN US!!! ITS ALL about the Rhythm- stay acoustic now - with hearing the right inside voices.. make the right choices...!!!In lifes big picture this is Getting In Rhythm with the race God has marked out for us!

Uh YA.... ITS ABOUT thyme.....
oh and im late.. im late..im late.. for a very important date!....

I almost did not have time- but god gave me this precious fresh thyme that's been growing on my window pane here..... so now i have time to just share a few pictures of the components of my time- and thyme efficient meal tonight! all had a bit of precious thyme involved its sometimes not how much time you have but how well you use this time this is why i am going to be short and sweet with sharing the delicacy of this fragrant beautiful herb THYME.

We all have time. So grab some thyme and have a good time! With GOD on our side, remember we always have time- God is never late.. but always ON TIME! HE OWNS the time!

So i walked into Mr. Principals office this morning for and interview at an Oakville private school, and i walked right into one of these MASSIVE honkers he has Pounded up on his wall.... uhhh OK!!!... like Sir, what exactly is this hard blow hole tube??? and please tell me you do not play this for the kids discipline hour....
It was pretty funny... I guess you maybe had to be there with me. Lets just say it was a great way to start off an interview to be a kids lunch supervisor at a private school.....

I found out it was an australian digeridoo. ok and i can not say this word with out smirking.

Really cool Himalayan salt boards!!! These are so rad! I want one for my kitchen!

You know those Bright orange salt lamp things? When i lived in Vancouver at a wild surfers pad i seriously thought he was Uh crazy like he had so many of these funky bright orange rock lights i questioned why all of the time... but really they are SALT lamps These are so rad cause they really do bring you a sense of you are closer to the ocean! The bowls are called "abundance" rock salt lights.... uh Thank you god-- this IS LIKE what we are called to be ....amen

Inside Voices, make the right choices

So I am trying to get a hold of my old coach that has been on my heart this past little while as I know he is now living in Australia, well Tasmania-- with his beautiful Wife Tara as he, Mr Neil Ross Is the strength and conditioning coach for the mountain bike team Australia . Cool eh? He was the coach that found me when i was 14- and raised me up to be a champion Cyclist and Mountain biker three times running for Canada ( Oh i also baked his wedding cake and i am trying to find this darn picture of it!)

My first championship win was probably the most memorable. And that's what has given me a word to write about today and about hearing and activating that Still small voice we hear in our heads- that we really CAN DO ALL THINGS thru Christ who gives us strength!!( Philippians 4:13) Its an "Inside" job- and sometimes its simply asking god to renew our minds in his Power for the right dimension of the direction he has on our lives.

In road cycling You will notice that there is alot about "weight" issues. You know like how heavy your bike is.. parts, components, frame ect. In the event of a time trial- I tell you EVERY single gram counts. Its all about aerodynamics... disk wheels and and aero helmet! ( the picture i have above is a championship when i did not have a aero helmet... uh yeah.. ok laugh... and it is DUCKED taped ok... lol but it really did help... ) Yes everything counts from booties on your shoes to a full on skin suit. Hot. Yes, i know.... i tell ya it hurts when you come second place by just a mill second in a time trial!! As a professional athlete. EVERYTHING counts and when your fully committed to something- you will do whatever it takes to get where we see ourselves on top of the podium shouting for glory...
Today I shout for gods glory on a day to day basis. But i have this competitive athlete blue chip living in me as that backbone i have now turned over to Christ where i live to give god the glory in all that I do. For not man i boast in, but only My God- don't get me wrong i LOVE sports and athletes- but for me- My passion is to encourage others to activate this power that is living and active in us- God wants to give us THAT- AND more then just victory in a stupid meaningless sports game- we just need to awkknowledge this- FOR the LOVE- For his divine purpose and call on our lives, heaven on earth and advancing the kingdom of GOD.

"Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.

Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. "( 1 Corinthians 9:24-25)

This reminds me of the god we serve and the divine detail he has on our lives. How he places and orchestrates us together so swiftly at times- FOR HIS WILL to unfold and deliver what HE wants thru us.... Just as We try to control our lives- even the most tiny details to the very last gram on a bike. Its gods voice that has the final call. Its his call on our lives that we activate this love and appropriate this LOVE in all that we do- There is way more POWER in this LOVE then the way the world lusts for false victory. The "feel good" victory.

"Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions. He has lost connection with the Head, from whom the whole body, supported and held together by its ligaments and sinews, grows as God causes it to grow." (colossi ans 2:18-19)

In road cycling you will notice many of the cyclists wear headsets when they are in the echelon. You know like ear pieces - so not just other team mates, but your followup car will keep you updated with the team tactics set as a goal plan for the race - who makes the breaks- who is going to attack- who is pacing ect- where everyone is situated in the pack... its pretty detailed and some serious stuff how a stage in a bike race can unfold- its dimensional and so so miraculous how this communication channeling in the alps can surpass any slow poke in a race.

My coach and I were so set that I was able to Win for Canada- however sometimes when the going gets going.. we lack in showing..... We did not want to take any chances. So what we did- was i wore a headset, yes in my time trial- in secret- cause not too many people do this - where it was just my coaches voice in my ear as he was watching in a follow up car. Neil knew i needed this kind of mental support- becuase sometimes, when we our muscles get tired- then we let our minds get tired and can throw our hands up and say... meh, next time - but Neil knew i had a strong heart ( that's where the power is) And i did not come out to be second. anyways, The entire time trial- I could not give up cause i had this secret voice in my ear pacing me from a follow up car-- saying "come on cyd! 5 k to go, 4 k , 3 k... ect.. power- synchronization, go deeper in the hoods.. power POWER POWER... I use this as when we hear the right voices- we make the right choices. Its hearing that right voice we have in our heads - and ACTIVATING it thru our faith in God believing that ALL things are possible and nothing is too big for our God to deliver thru us!- God says TAKE HEART! Be strong and courageous- I will never mislead or forsake you!( Joshua 1:5) Believing that if we give ALL the glory to him- he will let us ALWAYS come out victory after victory on top of the world! This is the truth!

"We are more then conquerors in him!! Romans (8:37)- Because Greater is he that is in me then who is in the world!!! (1 john 4:4)

Ok anyways I just wanted to encourage you that god IS a god of divine detail in the master crafter he is of our lives he is calling us into. Sometimes the voices may be telling us opposite what we want- But its not about us anyways! Its about him and letting him rise up his army of conquerors here his kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. Its the discipline thing i guess... the uh hard part- when the heat could be turned up- pressure is on- But that right voice is still there.... Turn it up, step out of the foggy noise of the world so you may hear gods Sound of victory shout your name!

Good Lordy MONDAY MORNING GLORY

Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day. One of my favorite things to do is to wake up early before everyone else is up- its so peaceful and tame... I love to warm up the kitchen and house with a beautiful fragrant smell of fresh baked muffins! I was blessed this morning to have VERY special guest spend the afternoon with me yesterday and also sleepover--- Chef, MR Brandon Olson himself.... Oh goodie i love to sweeten up his heart as much as i can when i get to see him. He is such a treasure in my life. i was so excited just to get up early and bake him a hearty surprise before i got him off to Toronto!
What better a way to start of a Glorious Monday then with some Good Lordy Morning Glory Muffins!
I am going to share with you the recipe to my beauties here!

Good LORDY MORNING Glory MUFFINS!

2 cups grated carrot
1/2c apple diced
1/2 cup raisins ( hunky stuff)
1/2 cup walnuts
1/2 cup coconut
1/2 cup dates

1cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup canola oil (Sloppy Stuff)
3 eggs
1/2 cup yogurt
2 tsp vanilla

1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
1/2cup all bran
2tsp Baking powder
1tsp Cinnamon ( Dry stuff)
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt

Combine the carrots, apple raisins nuts , coconut, spices together. Then Combine the wet and sloppy ingredients together- eggs, yogurt, oil, vanilla, sugar in another bowl. Then ya gotta combine all the dry ingredients, flour, all bran, salt soda-- THEN Introduce the hunky stuff ( carrots, raisins, nutts, coconut, dates) to the softy sweet stuff eggs/oil and then gently toss and blend in the flour. The batter should be nice and moist. This is a beautiful batter. Lots of love in here with the assortment of Glorious vibrant ingredients combined for some hunky chunky whole hearted muffys.

Spoon into muffin cups and bake at 350 for about 25-30 minutes- test when a toothpick comes out dry and should have some nice golden shine to them tops!

Makes 12 Big Muffys
